Jonathan Gottlieb serves his clients as an organization consultant, executive coach, and trusted advisor.

He provides a broad range of consulting services to leaders as they transform their organizations to realize their full potential and seize competitive advantage. Jonathan’s focus is threefold: (1) building individual capacity in the leaders with whom he works, resulting in better business outcomes; (2) helping leaders develop high performing teams to simultaneously support their efforts to lead and build their bench strength; and (3) working closely with leaders and their teams to facilitate transformative strategic organization change. With Jonathan, clients are able to examine their strategy and align their organization design, culture, and leadership with the needs and goals of the business.

Jonathan has engaged companies in both the public and private sectors, spanning many industries and sizes, ranging from Fortune 100 to start-up ventures.

He brings over thirty years of experience conducting comprehensive organization and leadership assessments, supporting his clients in the development of their vision, mission and values statements, and aligning organizations’ designs with their strategic directions. This includes guiding leaders as they redesign and realign their companies, build high performing teams and organization cultures, and navigate mergers and acquisitions. He partners with many C-suite and high-potential executives, acting as executive coach, sounding board, trusted advisor and knowledgeable expert regarding organizations, teams and leadership.

Jonathan provides advice to start-up and seasoned consultants as a consultant coach.

In this role, he pulls from his years of experience to support his consultant clients' efforts at consulting practice start up and transition, practice strategy development and fees. In addition, he provides meaningful advice regarding business development, and supports his consultant clients from "behind the scenes" as they navigate real time practice challenges.

Before commencing his consulting work, Jonathan gained experience as a manager, supervisor, internal consultant, and staff member, informing further his expertise in management and business operations.

In those roles, he directed and supervised staff, evaluated organization and program capabilities, and provided leadership to various high-profile change initiatives and programs.

Jonathan has authored and co-authored various publications with subjects relating to organization consulting, leadership, organization culture, and other related topics.

He has presented at and conducted a variety of different workshops in national forums. When a partner with a well-respected consulting firm, Jonathan contributed intellectual capital regarding mergers & acquisitions, strategic communication, leadership succession and other practice areas. He also provided leadership to the firm’s executive teams practice area. Additionally, he has served on the Board of Directors of Xenotope Diagnostics since 2006. A founding member of CouncilONE Advisors, Jonathan served as the Chair of its Board of Directors from 2012-2014.

Jonathan holds a BA degree in Psychology and an MSW degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. His PhD degree in Organizational Psychology is from the California School of Professional Psychology. His LinkedIn profile can be found here.
